Born in Kendal in the beautiful English Lake District; I studied singing, trombone and piano at the University of Manchester graduating in 2001 to become a lay clerk at Peterborough Cathedral.
 After two years I left Peterborough to do teacher training at the University of Durham and am currently a lay clerk at Chester Cathedral, conduct the Neston Ecumenical Singers and teach music in the Chester area both in schools and in private practice.
